Rights & Entitlements of Women and Children

Divya Kiran Sewa Sansthan focuses on the empowerment of women and children as they are considered to be the most vulnerable groups who are disproportionately affected by poverty and discriminations and suffer abuse and violations in the realization of their rights, entitlements and access and control over resources. The organization works towards empowerment of women, children hailing from socially backward communities by providing sustainable livelihood, quality education, training and related services.

Also, experience shows that, when equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities overcome poverty, marginalization and social injustice.

Advocating for the protection of child rights is one of our core areas of intervention. We sensitize the communities against child labour and child trafficking. Children are the assets of a nation and they have the right to be cared for and nurtured to develop their potential to the fullest so that they grow up to be responsible law abiding citizen and contribute to the nation’s growth.
